This scientific expedition, organised by the Royal Society, spent four years surveying the world's oceans. The ship was equipped with a dark room, enabling development of the photographs taken of the lands and peoples encountered. It is thought that this expedition was the first to include routine photography as well as an official artist.REFERENCEAKG3122431SourceScience Photo LibraryCrédit Photoakg-images / Science Photo Library / Natural History Museum, LondonFichier image2512px × 3479px (25 MB) 21.2 cm × 29.4 cm @ 300 dpiAjouter à la sélection: 'My First Lightbox'Ajouter au panierDownload
