New at akg-images: Inside the Daria Daulat Bagh
Tipu Sultan ruled the Kingdom of Mysore from 1782-1799. His summer palace, the Daria Daulat Bagh, at Srirangapatna in India, boasts an incredible array of wall frescoes depicting daily life at his court as well as epic battle scenes against the British.

We have the pleasure of being able to represent a unique selection of photographs from this palace, showing the intricate details of the murals and a hand-picked selection of highlights from the adjoining Tipu Sultan Museum.

All photographs in this selection were taken by Benoy Behl courtesy of the Archaeological Survey of India and commissioned by Otto Money. We are very proud to be able to represent this collection of images, and to be able to share with you this rare glimpse inside the Daria Daulat Bagh.
