June 2017: 150 years since the birth of Frank Lloyd Wright
June 2017 marks 150 years since the birth of Frank Lloyd Wright (American architect and designer; 8 June 1867 – 9 April 1959):

Wright pioneered a bold new approach to domestic architecture, the so-called "Prairie Style", which emphasised that form should not only match function but the environment as well. Many of the homes he built are still considered architectural works of art to this day. During his career, Wright designed over 500 buildings including homes, museums, office buildings, hotels, and churches.
